Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the clinical team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Experience with dental software such as Epic and Dentrix, as well as familiarity with orthodontics and pediatrics, will be highly valued. Duties
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols treatments
Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary
Manage patient records using dental software such as Epic and Dentrix
Provide patient education on oral hygiene, procedures, and post-treatment care
Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow, acting as a dental receptionist when needed
Maintain accurate medical terminology documentation and ensure compliance with health regulations




Support the team in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment

Skills
Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and knowledge of medical terminology
Experience with dental software platforms such as Epic and Dentrix
Knowledge of CAD systems used for dental imaging or modeling is a plus
Solid communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including pediatrics
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Prior experience or training in dental receptionist duties is advantageous
Certification or training in dental assisting preferred but not required; ongoing career development encouraged

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
