We are looking for a Dock Equipment Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling prefabricated components and dock equipment while maintaining quality, accuracy, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
Assemble prefabricated parts and components according to specifications.
Assemble and fabricate hydraulic cylinders and components for mechanical, vertical, and airbag dock systems.
Assemble dock levelers; previous experience is considered an asset.
Perform various assembly and fabrication tasks, including cutting, filing, fitting, punching, reaming, riveting, forming, and clamping.
Ensure components are properly aligned and assembled to meet close tolerances and precision-fit requirements.
Read and follow blueprints and assembly instructions.
Perform basic electrical-related assembly tasks as required.
Follow production schedules and complete work within required timelines.
Scan barcodes and complete required job documentation.
Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet required standards.
Complete daily crane inspections.
Maintain a clean, organized, and protected work area.
Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.




Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications & Skills
Minimum Grade 12 education.
Previous assembly line or manufacturing experience is an asset.
Industry experience is an asset.
Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Basic electrical knowledge.
Ability to work with little or no supervision.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies.

Properly use required PPE and safety equipment.
Report hazards, unsafe conditions, and safety concerns to the supervisor.
Follow safe work practices and procedures at all times.
Attend required health and safety training, including WHMIS and orientation.
Operate equipment and perform work in a manner that does not endanger yourself or others.
Report any workplace safety concerns, including violence or harassment, to the supervisor immediately.

Pay: $21.00 per hour
