Duties
Assist with food preparation by chopping, peeling, measuring ingredients, and assembling dishes under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers
Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and ensuring timely delivery of meal components
Maintain high standards of food handling and safety protocols to ensure hygiene and compliance with health regulations
Serve food efficiently during meal times, ensuring proper portioning and presentation for guests
Keep the kitchen clean and organized by washing dishes, sanitizing workstations, and disposing of waste appropriately
Restock supplies and ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations throughout service hours
Follow all safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working workplace
Skills
Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with a strong understanding of kitchen operations
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly processes
Familiarity with food handling safety standards and hygiene practices in the food industry
