Duties
Greet customers warmly and listen carefully to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and communicate findings clearly to customers, leveraging mechanical knowledge and dealership experience
Prepare detailed service estimates, explaining repair options and recommended services with confidence
Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of work
Upsell additional services or maintenance that benefit the customer while meeting dealership sales goals
Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and issuing receipts
Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and foster long-term relationships
Maintain organized records of service orders, customer interactions, and vehicle history for future reference
Experience
Previous experience is highly preferred, providing familiarity with automotive service processes and customer expectations
Hands-on mechanic experience or mechanical knowledge that enables effective communication about vehicle repairs
Proven success in customer service roles within the automotive industry or related fields
Robust sales skills with an ability to upsell services tactfully while prioritizing customer needs
Experience handling cash transactions accurately and responsibly
Knowledge of automotive repair procedures, parts, and maintenance schedules is a plus
