To provide direct services to clients and families in the Non-Residential Attendance Centre programs
To develop and implement treatment goals and intervention strategies in partnership with Youth Justice team members, youth and their families
To provide clinical resource(s) to colleagues in the agency and provide consultation and services as required
Provide clinical interviews for purposes of assessment/screening for risk of suicidal lethality, undiagnosed mental health of other crises based situations, including afterhours as required
To collect data through multiple sources
Provide direct clinical social work services in formats of individual, group and family counselling
Evaluate intervention effectiveness on an ongoing bases and adjust as needed
To assist primary workers with case management through developing appropriate written treatment plans

Qualifications
Master's degree in Social Work with experience working with youth and their families with complex needs in a multidisciplinary setting




Registered member of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OASWSSW) and in positive standing
Minimum of three (3) years demonstrated experience in social work theory and evidence based practices; legislation, policies, procedures of Youth Criminal Justice Act; human development, emotional, physical and mental health needs of youth and families, sensitivity to cultural diversity
Robust ethical decision making, organization/time management and oral and written communication skills
Police Record Clearance and Vulnerable Sector Screening is required. NVCI, CPR, First Aid Certificate, immunization record, medical clearance, a valid Ontario Class "g" driver's license and access to a vehicle is required prior to working directly with clients. Will be expected to work irregular hours as required by client of program needs, which may include evenings and weekends
