Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks for multiple clients using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and promptly.
Perform bank reconciliations and account analysis to ensure financial data integrity.
Maintain detailed records of payroll processing, including deductions, benefits, and compliance requirements.
Conduct regular account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently.
Assist with budgeting processes by providing accurate financial data and analysis.
Support month-end and year-end closing procedures,
ensuring all records are complete and compliant with accounting standards.
Requirements
Proven experience as a bookkeeper within a public accounting or skilled services environment.
Strong proficiency in accounting software such as QBO, QuickBooks, Sage, and Xero.
Solid understanding of accounting principles, payroll processing, and financial reporting.
Demonstrated ability to perform account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and account analysis accurately.
Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Knowledge of budgeting processes and financial statement preparation is preferred.
