Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical conditions and discuss their specific needs and preferences.
Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and therapeutic massages.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Educate clients on the perks of massage therapy and provide recommendations for ongoing care.
Document client sessions accurately, noting any changes in condition or feedback for future treatments.
Collaborate with other wellness professionals to create comprehensive care plans for clients.
Uphold professional standards of conduct and maintain client confidentiality at all times.
Skills
Must have an RMT license and in good standing with CMTO.
Proficiency in various massage techniques and modalities.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.
Excellent interpersonal skills with an emphasis on empathy and professionalism.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and the effects of massage on the body.
