Busy restaurant and nightclub complex looking for an experienced Cleaner to join our team. Working mostly independently on your own responsibilities , while collaborating with team mates to ensure the overall needs of the operations are met timely, effective and well presented; your efforts directly impact the comfort and well-being of staff and visitors alike.
Duties
Perform comprehensive cleaning of restaurants, night clubs, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces to maintain high standards of cleanliness
Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste responsibly in designated areas
Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure availability at all times
Follow health and safety guidelines during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or contamination
Report any maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to the appropriate personnel
Maintain a clean and organized storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment
Skills
Previous custodial or cleaning experience required, especially in commercial settings
Solid attention to detail with a commitment to thoroughness in every task
Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as vacuums, and pressure washers, safely and effectively
Valuable time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled hours
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues promptly
Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to established standards
Schedule
Saturday-Wednesday 8-4pm *start/end time is somewhat negotiable
