Very fun 46-year-old female quadriplegic with spinal cord injury in Orillia seeking a reliable, responsible, and caring Personal Support Worker for morning and evening in-home care, Monday to Friday.
Services required include dressing, transfers, using ceiling lift, meal preparation, and tidying/light housekeeping.
Smoke free setting with two barky but friendly dogs.

Duties
Assist me with daily activities such as dressing, grooming, and mobility to ensure comfort and dignity
Provide patient care including medication administration and wound care
Support me with meal preparation to promote proper nutrition and hydration
Perform light housekeeping tasks like cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment
Assist with transfers and mobility exercises to ensure safety during movement
Skills
Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care settings
Solid knowledge of managing patients with complex needs
Excellent caregiving skills with a focus on patient safety and comfort
Ability to perform independent heavy lifting safely and efficiently when assisting me with mobility needs
Effective communication skills in English
