Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Sr. Manager, Solutions Architecture to lead its Enterprise Industry Solutions Architecture team supporting the largest customers in the Manufacturing, Engineering, Construction, Real Estate, and Skilled Services sectors in Canada. This role combines deep industry expertise with people leadership to drive customer success and business growth for AWS's most strategic accounts. The leader will guide a cross‑functional team of Enterprise Industry Solutions Architects and act as a critical feedback ingestion point from all customers in Canada, directly feeding into AWS's product and services roadmap. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Management Lead and develop a team of Solutions Architects for key Manufacturing, Engineering, Construction, Real Estate, and Professional Services customers Drive performance management, hiring, and team member career growth Provide technical coaching with deep industry expertise Strategic Account Management Develop and execute technical strategy for major accounts Partner with cross‑functional teams across Solutions Architecture, Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Partners,



and Training to execute customer acquisition programs Build technical relationships with customer executives and decision makers Measure and optimize team effectiveness through defined KPIs Technical Leadership & Innovation Guide digital transformation initiatives including cloud migration and content delivery optimization Support executive briefings and technical deep‑dive sessions Industry Impact & Development Guide the development of whitepapers, presentations, and other high‑value customer‑facing content to share best practices Basic Requirements 10+ years of experience in sales, technical pre‑sales, product development, or customer‑facing roles 6+ years of experience managing a technical team of Solutions Architects, Sales Engineers, or similar technical roles Experience architecting or operating solutions built on any cloud service provider (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, etc.) For Quebec location: fluency in both French and English is required Preferred Qualifications Experience architecting, migrating, transforming, or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud Compensation Base salary: $194,000 – $291,000 CAD annually (Toronto or Montreal). Total compensation may include sign‑on payments and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
