Medical Office Assistant (MOA) – Job Description

Key Requirements & Responsibilities
Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Medical Office Assistant (mandatory).
EMR Proficiency: Working knowledge of MedAccess EMR is required.
Patient Scheduling & Communication:
Book, manage, and coordinate patient appointments efficiently
Communicate with patients professionally, clearly, and empathetically (phone, in-person, and electronic)
Clinical Support:
Assist with room setup and preparation for women’s health procedures
Support physicians during clinic flow as needed
Administrative Duties:
Process incoming and outgoing faxes, scans, and electronic documents
Coordinate referrals, follow-ups, and tracking with accuracy and timeliness
Communication & Judgment:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrates excellent judgment, responsibility,



and the ability to make appropriate decisions in a quick-paced clinical setting
Professional Attributes:
Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
Maintains patient confidentiality and professionalism at all times

This role requires a proactive, reliable team player who can balance clinical support with front-desk and administrative responsibilities while delivering high-quality patient care.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 24 per week
