Dough Preparation:
Prepare batches of dough according to established recipes and production schedules;
Measure and mix ingredients accurately to maintain product consistency and quality;
Operate dough mixing equipment safely and efficiently;
Monitor dough consistency and make adjustments as necessary to meet quality standards;

Order Packing:
Pick and pack orders according to order specifications;
Ensure accurate labeling and packaging of orders;
Organize packed orders for shipment or pickup;

Sanitation & Quality Assurance:
Conduct quality checks on doughs to ensure they meet company standards;
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the production and packing areas;
Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines;
Clean in between batches to maintain clean workspace
Vemag assembly/disassembly and cleaning

Inventory Management:
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients, packaging materials and finished goods;
Notify supervisor of low inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed;
Rotate stock according to FIFO and ensure proper storage of ingredients to prevent spoilage;
Filling Ingredient bins and following cleaning procedures in between different lot codes

Required Skills and Experience:




Minimum 2 years’ experience working in baking industry with robust quality assurance and food safety programs
Previous experience in a bakery or food production setting preferred;
Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices;
Ability to follow recipes and production schedules accurately;
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills;
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities;
Ability to fill production logs and do basic record keeping;
Flexibility to work in a fast-paced setting and adapt to changing priorities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Ability to work and stand for long hours - approximately three (3) consecutive hours of standing;
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs on a regular basis;
Manual dexterity for forming, packing and accenting cookies is required;
Temperatures that may be considered above “room temperature” and not to exceed 26C;
Intermittent loud sounds lasting approximately 20 minutes at a time throughout the day (compressor machinery). Ear protection is provided when on the loading dock;
Smells include butter, sugar, chocolate, maple syrup, nuts. Must be free from allergies to any of these products;

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
