Responsibilities
Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications while maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and process transactions efficiently using Micros POS (Point of Sale) systems
Handle cash and credit card payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling and register balancing at the end of each shift
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, food preparation areas, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety regulations
Manage time effectively to serve multiple customers quickly during busy periods without compromising quality or safety
Upsell additional menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
Follow all food handling procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and team members
Qualifications
Previous food preparation or food service experience is preferred but not required; we provide comprehensive training for all new team members
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or food trays
Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is a plus
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
Experience with Micros POS or similar systems is advantageous but not mandatory
Restaurant or food industry experience will help you succeed in this rapid-paced workplace
