We’re excited to be growing our café team in downtown Kingston, and we’re looking for a skilled part-time barista to help cover shifts on Thursdays and Fridays. Position Details:
As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality coffee and espresso beverages while ensuring a great experience for every customer. Key responsibilities include:
Crafting and serving a variety of espresso-based and specialty drinks
Maintaining consistency in drink preparation and quality
Providing friendly and professional customer service
Keeping the workspace clean, organized, and well-stocked
Handling cash and processing transactions accurately
Assisting with inventory management
Qualifications:
Previous barista experience is required
Solid knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso machines
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace
A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset
Availability to work Thursdays and Fridays
Relevant certifications (e.g., Food Safety) are a plus but not mandatory
Location & Opportunities:
Our café is located in the downtown core of Kingston, Ontario. This is a part-time position, primarily covering shifts on Thursdays and Fridays, with the chance for additional shifts based on performance and business needs.
