We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our agile restaurant team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, along with robust communication and multitasking skills. The Server will play a vital role in upholding food safety standards and enhancing customer satisfaction through attentive service and upselling techniques.
Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and adherence to food safety regulations
Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed
Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and service stations
Address guest inquiries professionally, providing excellent guest services and resolving issues promptly
Qualifications
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, qualified demeanor
Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively
Hospitality or serving experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
