Responsibilities
Dispense prescription medications accurately in accordance with doctor’s orders and established protocols
Provide comprehensive medication counseling to patients, including proper usage, potential side effects, and interactions
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and review patient treatment plans
Monitor patient responses to medications and adjust therapies as needed in consultation with medical staff
Maintain detailed and organized records of prescriptions, patient interactions, and medication inventories
Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, safety procedures, and hospital policies
Educate patients on medication management, including adherence strategies and lifestyle considerations
Skills
Speak Cantonese and Mandarin besides English
Experience working with pediatric patients and managing pediatric medication needs
Excellent knowledge and experience of compounding
Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient populations
Ability to accurately administer medications and perform medication reconciliation processes
Effective communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in dispensing medications and documenting procedures

Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
