Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience developing scalable web applications, building backend services using Java and Spring Boot, and creating responsive frontend applications.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using Java-based technologies.
Build scalable RESTful APIs and backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
Develop responsive frontend applications using Angular or React.
Design, implement, and optimize relational databases and SQL queries.
Integrate frontend applications with backend services and third-party APIs.
Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and effective code.
Participate in code reviews, debugging, testing, and performance optimization.
Collaborate with business analysts, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and other developers.
Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and participate in sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
Contribute to application deployment, troubleshooting, and production support.

Required Qualifications




5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming concepts.
Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate/JPA.
Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
Frontend development experience using Angular or React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
Familiarity with Git and version control practices.
Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
Understanding of application security, performance optimization, and software development best practices.
Solid problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Knowledge of automated testing and application monitoring tools.
Experience working in Agile development settings.

Pay: $90,000.00-$115,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON (York District)
