Responsibilities
Assist in food preparation and ensure all menu items meet quality standards.
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process orders and payments accurately.
Handle cashiering duties such as cash handling, giving change, and balancing registers at shift end.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food prep areas, dining spaces, and kitchen stations.
Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and upselling products when appropriate.
Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure prompt service and order accuracy.
Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety.
Skills
Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly desirable.
Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient order processing.
Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and positive communication abilities.
Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry.
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Willingness to learn new skills such as upselling techniques and kitchen operations.
