KC Food Products Ltd. is a local, family-run Edmonton food company specializing in Asian- and Vietnamese-inspired frozen foods.
We are looking for a friendly, reliable and outgoing Market & Event Sales Associate to represent our company at farmers markets, community events, trade shows and other markets.
Responsibilities
Greet customers and promote/sell KC Food Products
Explain products, cooking instructions and promotions
Process cash and electronic payments
Prepare and provide food samples when required
Set up/take down tables, signage and displays
Stock products and maintain a clean, professional booth
Follow food handling and safety procedures
What We’re Looking For
Reliable, punctual and comfortable approaching customers
Strong English communication skills with the ability to speak clearly and confidently with customers
Good customer service and sales skills
Able to work independently
Good weekend availability, with occasional weekday/evening shifts
Able to stand for extended periods and lift approximately 25–35 lbs
Reliable transportation to scheduled work locations
Previous sales, farmers market, retail, food service or customer service experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person.
A valid Food Handler/Food Safety Certificate is an asset. If required, KC Food Products will reimburse the cost of an approved certificate after one month of employment.
This is an ongoing part-time position, with opportunities for increased hours and potential full time work as the business grows.
