We are looking for an Optometric Assistant to join our team! We are a growing office looking for someone to be a team player and help wherever they are needed. Here are a few duties that we are looking for you to perform:
Answer and make calls in a friendly and welcoming manner.
Schedule appointments and take payments.
Process insurance claims and handle billing inquiries
Assist with frame and lens selection and fitting for glasses
Checking lens orders that come from the lab
Educate patients on contact lens insertion, removal, and care
Explain and perform diagnostic pre-testing procedures including OCT, Visual Fields, and Opto Map Imaging.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of pre-test rooms and optical area
Provide exceptional customer service to ensure patient satisfaction
Knowledge of Optosys EHR is a plus but not required

Our equipment is high-end, with EyeTech's focus on providing comprehensive eye exams, looking at more than just a patients' glasses prescription, as well as providing Dry Eye Treatments.
