5 shifts weekly; to be determined, of which one day is a Saturday or Sunday (preferred Sat & Sunday)

Duties:
Prepare and create a variety of ice cream flavors and pastry items according to established recipes and standards
Operate ice cream making equipment, including mixers, churners, and freezers
Monitor and adjust temperatures and ingredients to ensure proper consistency and quality of ice cream
Follow health and safety guidelines in handling and storing ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area, including equipment, utensils, and storage areas
Oversee ice cream makers and other pastry cooks in the back of house
Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a catering or restaurant workplace is preferred
Must be eligible to work in BC and have at least 1-year work visa
Knowledge of ice cream making techniques and equipment is a plus
Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently
Strong attention to detail to ensure quality control
Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines
Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
Good communication skills to interact with team members and customers
