Duties
Assist in preparing ingredients and cooking dishes according to established recipes and standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas of the kitchen, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste, sweeping and mopping.
Support the kitchen team during busy service times to ensure timely food delivery
Handle food safely by following proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
Restock supplies and ingredients to ensure the kitchen runs efficiently throughout service
Provide updated inventory (weekly and monthly) to ensure stock levels are maintained
Provide friendly guest services by responding promptly to customer needs and inquiries
Skills
Previous food service experience or kitchen work background in Asian cuisine preferred
Robust communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques with FoodSafe (or recognized equi
Ability to perform meal preparation tasks efficiently in a fast-paced workplace
Basic cleaning skills to uphold hygiene standards in all areas of the restaurant
Strong knowledge of Asian ingredients and cooking styles preferred
