Finning Canada is seeking skilled Welders for permanent positions at the Mildred Lake Shop in Fort McMurray. Ideal candidates will possess Journeyperson Welder certification and adhere to safety protocols.

This permanent role involves working 14x14 shifts in a service-oriented workplace. Applicants must be detail-oriented and self-motivated with experience in Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) and Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW). Applicants with backgrounds in Caterpillar equipment usage are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and organize jobs with required parts and tools
Minimize downtime while meeting production schedules
Examine and repair machine defects and damages
Operate manual and semi-automatic welding equipment
Train and develop team members in welding practices

Requirements:
Journeyperson Welder Technician Certification required
Certification in GMAW and SMAW required
Experience with Caterpillar equipment considered an asset
Proven leadership and coaching skills in a production setting
Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality standards
