The Salvation Army seeks a Christmas Support Worker to assist Rainbow Country Church's Community Services on a temporary basis. Ideal candidates will have robust communication skills, with a focus on providing assistance to families in need. You'll collaborate closely with the Community Services Program Coordinator and engage in activities such as sorting donations and supporting the Christmas Kettle Campaign.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support daily Community Services activities during the Christmas season
• Pick up donations using a program vehicle




• Set up and dismantle Christmas assistance spaces
• Provide support to guests applying for assistance
• Maintain accurate records and answer inquiries

Requirements:
• Some high school coursework, completion is an asset
• One year of related experience preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift 9 to 12 kgs (20 – 25 lbs)
