Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring each dish is flavorful and visually appealing
Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients to streamline kitchen operations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and handling protocols
Monitor cooking processes, adjust temperatures, and time dishes to ensure optimal results
Collaborate with team members to deliver prompt, friendly service during busy hours




Follow all health department regulations and safety procedures diligently
Support the overall efficiency of the kitchen by restocking supplies and assisting with meal assembly as needed

Skills
Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a solid understanding of food preparation and cooking techniques
Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation practices
Ability to serve guests efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting
Familiarity with meal preparation processes across various cuisines or styles preferred
Strong attention to detail in food presentation and consistency
Basic understanding of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
