School District No. 91 (Nechako Lakes) is seeking applications for Casual Administrative Assistants to support schools in the Vanderhoof area, including Mapes. This is a casual position with no guaranteed hours.
The successful candidate will perform a variety of clerical and administrative duties to support the effective and effective operation of a school office—typically in a single-person office workplace. Responsibilities include:
Filing, photocopying, and record keeping
Typing correspondence, reports, and newsletters
Managing reception duties and handling confidential information
Sending/receiving faxes and general office communication
Providing basic bookkeeping support
Qualifications:
Completion of Grade 12 (Dogwood Certificate)
Completion of an Applied Business Technology program or Administrative Assistant Certificate
Minimum of 1 year of recent, relevant office experience (school setting preferred)
WHMIS 2015 Certificate and familiarity with WorkSafeBC safety procedures
