Join Algonquin Bridge Limited's Engineering team as a Bridge Structural Engineer in Thorndale, Ontario. You will lead technical excellence in designing and analyzing modular steel structures and prefabricated bridge systems.
This role requires a licensed Skilled Engineer with significant experience in structural engineering, particularly involving modular bridges. You will closely collaborate with project managers, drafters, and clients to ensure creative and safe infrastructure development.
Your leadership will help mentor junior engineers while supporting projects from concept to construction.
Key Responsibilities:
Design modular steel structures and prefabricated bridge systems
Review and seal structural drawings and documents
Perform structural analysis and load calculations
Collaborate with site teams and clients through project delivery
Conduct QA/QC processes to ensure design accuracy
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Licensed Qualified Engineer in three Canadian provinces
5+ years of structural engineering experience
Knowledge of Canadian bridge design codes
Experience with structural analysis software
Drive innovation in bridge engineering with Algonquin Bridge as a key technical leader.
