Join the Waqatasg Elder’s Care Facility as a full time Personal Care Worker starting in November 2026. Provide essential support to residents with daily living activities and personal care.

As a critical part of the Waqatasg Nursing Program Team, you’ll assist residents with their daily routines while ensuring respectful and compassionate service. Your role includes working closely with nursing staff to implement individualized care plans. Direct interaction with clients and their families will also be key to understand their needs better.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain residents’ living spaces
• Answer call bells and provide comfort to residents




• Assist with residents’ dining experiences under Nurse supervision
• Support recreational programs and activities for residents
• Follow medical instructions and update care plans as necessary

Requirements:
• Completion of Institutional and Home Care Assistance Program
• Willingness to undergo training necessary for the role
• Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check
• Knowledge of Mi’gmaq Language and Culture as an asset
