About the Role Kidstart Pediatric Therapy is looking for a compassionate and motivated Junior Behaviour Consultant to support children and families through behaviour-focused interventions. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills under the guidance of experienced Behaviour Consultants. This is an independent contractor position with flexible scheduling and opportunities for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities Collaborate with Behaviour Consultants and families to set behaviour-focused, measurable goals for clients
Conduct initial and ongoing behavioural assessments to understand clients’ needs, functioning, and progress
Develop and document Behaviour Intervention Plans (BIPs) based on assessment findings and industry best practices
Deliver direct intervention, consultation, parent coaching, and training to families, teachers, Behaviour Interventionists, and community partners
Utilize current research to support evidence-based practice in all interventions and recommendations
Participate in and support group programs as needed




Carry out therapeutic activities under the clinical direction of a qualified consultant or therapist
Assist in collecting, organizing, and maintaining accurate data records for each client
Qualifications & Requirements Maintain professional and ethical standards as outlined by the Behaviour Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
Must possess or be pursuing BCBA/BCaBA certification
A minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) as a Behavioural Interventionist
