ROLE
As a member of the Finance team, the Finance Support I (Cashier/Mailroom) will provide effective and efficient accounting support to the Finance Department. In this role, the incumbent will be primarily responsible for dealing with Accounts Receivable, the daily Cashier duties as well as maintaining the operations of the Mailroom.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION(S)
Successful completion of a 1-year Accounting Certificate

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE(S)
Experience with Meditech Hospital Information System
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office software including EXCEL, WORD and Outlook
A good understanding of general accounting elements
Experience with Postage Equipment and Canada Post rates




Familiar with the Organizational Structure of the Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for customer service
Able to interact with a wide variety of clients in order to meet their needs
Personal skills to deal with sensitive client information and stressful client interactions
