Experience

One (1) year CSIU and/or surgical nursing and/or cardiology nursing experience required.

Nurses currently working on the unit will be deemed qualified.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program required.

Certification/Licensure/Registration

Current CRNM registration required.

Active participation in professional associations e.g. Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred.

Annual BLS Level C Registration/Re-Registration is required.

SUCCESSFUL SCHEDULED and COMPLETION OF the Advanced Assessment Course when the opportunity to take the course is scheduled by the employer, or as otherwise mutually agreed to between the nurse and employer.

Qualifications and Skills

Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA).
