This position is responsible for learning and demonstrating proficiency and flexibility in all positions within the plant to respond to and support any position based on business need. This position supports other internal departments and those of the flat cut out, plastics and pronto shops. Come be a part of a positive, people-first culture that is focused on leveraging each team members’ strengths to help bring our customers’ unique signage products to life.Wage Range:CAD $21.49 - $28.34 per Hour (Posted range is inclusive of an additional 10% shift premium)Location:Neustadt, ONType:Full Time – On-siteSchedule:4/10 hour days 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM (Monday through Thursday)- Overtime is scheduled as needed.A day in the life of a Manufacturing Specialist at Gemini includes:Letter FinisherEnsure products are clean and free from scratches and foreign materials.Properly finish and assemble as instructed by the work order.Assure each order is complete by counting and matching contents with the work order.PainterMix appropriate quantity of paint per work order, ensure that the paint is properly mixed as indicated by local conditions and matching paint chips or samples if required by the job.Spray products as required, ensuring that paint is applied in a manner consistent with customer requirements and company quality standards.ShipperInspect finished products for function, aesthetics, and quality, if required,



and may clean products as necessary.Maintain familiarity with shipping procedures, bill of lading etc. and prepare products for UPS/truck pick-up required.FCO operatorOperate lasers or routers to produce product as instructed per the work order.Uses appropriate equipment to laminate either foils or metal to a substrate as instructed by the work order.Will participate in Lean/Continuous Improvement efforts in the plant.Completes other duties as assigned.LaminatorUses appropriate equipment to laminate either foils or metal to a substrate as instructed by the work order.Lean/Continuous ImprovementWill participate in Lean/Continuous Improvement efforts in the plant.Completes other duties as assigned.Skills and AbilitiesAbility to lift up to 40 lbs on a frequent basis.Operate a variety of power saws and routers, cutting out letters from plastic sheets.Education and ExperienceSecondary School education/CAECor equivalent demonstrated competency through work experience.1 – 2 years of experience in a production environment.Preferred QualificationsManufacturing Experience.Automotive Paint Experience.We are an Equal Prospect employer committed to a diverse workforce.
