Brown Bros. is looking for a licensed Strata Property Manager to join our growing strata team. You get a hybrid schedule, no weekend or holiday on‑call, and full in‑house administrative and accounting support behind you, so your time goes to your councils and buildings.

Salary: $70,000–$80,000 per year, based on experience, plus bonus potential

Licence: BC Strata Management Licence (required)

Experience: 2+ years in strata management or a related role

Work arrangement: Hybrid, based at our downtown Victoria office

On‑call: No weekend or statutory holiday on‑call

Vacation: 3 weeks to start

About the role
As a Strata Property Manager, you are the main point of contact for the strata councils and owners in your portfolio. You keep buildings running smoothly, finances stable and decisions compliant with the Strata Property Act. You will manage a well‑balanced portfolio of strata buildings across Greater Victoria, with administrative and accounting teams handling the back office so you can focus on councils, owners and the buildings themselves.

What you'll do

Act as the primary contact for strata councils and owners in your portfolio

Prepare for and attend strata council meetings, AGMs and SGMs

Prepare annual budgets and oversee each corporation's financial processes

Advise councils on the Strata Property Act, bylaws and related regulations

Supervise maintenance and negotiate service contracts





Lead special projects that improve the buildings in your care

What you bring

BC Strata Management Licence (required)

2+ years of strata management or related experience

Strong working knowledge of the Strata Property Act and the Real Estate Services Act

Skill with budgeting and financial reporting, and proficiency in Microsoft Office

Explicit, confident communication with councils and owners, and strong organization

A proactive, self‑motivated team player who enjoys solving problems
