Gather raw material pricing information to produce costed bills of material in support of customer quotations.
Actively review MRP outputs to understand raw material supply needs. Purchase raw materials in support of the production schedule while adhering to material budget requirements. Actively monitor and expedite outstanding purchase orders to ensure delivery dates and production schedules are being met.
Gather data and report on supplier performance, and other relevant performance indices. Adhere to company and departmental policies and procedures and, if necessary, contribute to their improvement to promote better business practices. Proactively build effective working relations with your peers to support optimal supply chain operations.
Perform other occasional assignments in the spirit and purpose of the role and within the scope of the Supply Chain Management function. Proficiency in MS-Excel and other MS-Office software. ~ 5+ years in a purchasing or similar role. Consideration may be given to recent graduates of a Supply Chain Management, or similar, post-secondary academic curriculum.
