OECTA is looking for a Secondary Educator to lead a Literacy Lunch course starting October 14, 2026. This course runs on Wednesdays from 10:35 AM to 11:35 AM for six weeks.

Qualified candidates with an Ontario College of Teacher's Certificate are encouraged to apply for this part-time position. You will engage students in literacy activities that enhance their learning experience and encourage skill development. Your expertise with specialized subjects, in line with Ministry regulations, will be invaluable to the course's success.

Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate engaging literacy activities each Wednesday
• Assess student participation and progress in the course
• Collaborate with educational staff as needed
• Prepare course materials and resources in advance
• Ensure compliance with Ministry of Education standards

Requirements:
• Ontario College of Teacher's Certificate preferred
• Qualifications in specialized subjects as required
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning workplace
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Available to begin on October 14, 2026
