This role blends technical knowledge, customer service, and consultative sales, supporting customers throughout the lifecycle of their equipment.You Will Work Closely With OSB Producers ToProvide technical support and application guidanceIdentify opportunities for aftermarket parts, upgrades, and retrofitsTranslate customer needs into clear technical and commercial proposalsThis position involves regular travel to customer sites across Canada, the United States, and internationally, where you will interface with maintenance teams, engineers, and plant leadership.Build and maintain solid customer relationshipsOn a regular basis, review customer history with the sales and service departments and plan mill visits using a systematic approachDefine scope for machine retrofits, upgrades,



and spare partsPrepare accurate technical quotations with cross‐functional teamsProvide on‐site and remote technical support as requiredCommunicate and track order deadlines with KCD sales, service, manufacturing, and key stakeholdersDocument customer interactions and project details professionallyWhen appropriate, provide customers with a follow‐up letter summarizing key observations and recommended actionsA willingness to learn and maintain expertise across all KCD equipment and systemsQualificationsHistory of technical support and sales experienceExcellent communication and interpersonal skills; customer‐focused and consultativeMechanical aptitude towards industrial equipmentFunctional knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systemsAble to clearly explain technical concepts to diverse audiencesHighly organized with strong attention to detailProficient in Microsoft Office and collaboration toolsWilling and able to travel domestically and internationally (including the U.S.)Committed to continuous learning and improvementConsidered AssetsPost‐secondary technical training in a related field such as mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, wood manufacturing, and similar.
