Recruitment and talent acquisition will be a major focus of your work, while also providing exposure to performance management, compensation, onboarding, and people operations in a growing consulting business. This is a hands-on, growth-oriented HR role supporting MistyWest’s core people processes.

Recruitment and Candidate Pipeline planning Performance review cycles Core HR operations and compliance Success in this role requires comfort managing multiple priorities, switching between projects, and supporting a fast-moving team where priorities can change quickly. Recruitment and talent acquisition will represent a significant portion of this role. The ideal candidate enjoys building talent pipelines, engaging candidates, and supporting hiring managers while also developing broader HR skills.

Talent

Acquisition & Recruitment (50-70% depending on project needs)



Source and engage candidates through LinkedIn and other recruiting channels Maintain the ATS and candidate pipelines Partner with hiring managers to support recruitment efforts Help improve recruitment processes and candidate experience People Operations & HR (30-50%) Maintain employee records and HR documentation Assist with performance review cycles and documentation 2-4 years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, HR coordination, or people operations. ~ Strong follow-through and ability to manage multiple active recruitment processes simultaneously. ~ Post-secondary education in HR, Business, or a related field ~ Confidence to work with internal stakeholders and keep projects moving on time ~ A genuine interest in learning compensation, performance management, and HR systems- we have support and we are here to develop you. ~ Exposure to recruiting coordination or HR administration An opportunity to build deep recruitment experience while gaining exposure to compensation, performance management, and people operations You'll play a meaningful role in helping MistyWest build the teams that design and develop technologies with real-world environmental and social impact Direct mentorship from senior leadership and access to external learning resources Meaningful ownership and visibility early in your career A clear path to grow into a longer-term role We love dogs! Full-time position (37.5 hours per week) We are also open to considering a part-time arrangement (approximately 30 hours per week) for the right candidate. Compensation, vacation, and benefits eligibility will be prorated accordingly.
