AgeCare is seeking a dedicated Recreation Worker to spearhead diverse recreational programs aimed at promoting well-being and personal connections among residents. This role involves planning and implementing activities within the home and community while creating engaging spaces for meaningful participation. Your efforts will help enhance residents’ skills and relationships through both structured events and spontaneous opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement daily recreation and leisure activities
• Create engaging environments that promote participation




• Develop communication with residents, families, and volunteers
• Document and report changes in resident activity participation
• Evaluate and improve recreation programs continuously

Requirements:
• Experience with seniors in a long-term care setting
• Diploma or degree in recreation and leisure studies
• Must be enrolled in an applicable program
• Health care related degree with recreation skills
• Strong understanding of resident programming
