Assistant Education Assistant East Central Alberta Catholic Separate School Division invites applications for the position of a part-time Educational Assistant at Blessed Sacrament School in Wainwright, Alberta.
The school is looking for a candidate with the following credentials:
Experience working with young children.
Experience and willingness to work with students with autism spectrum disorder.
Experience with adaptive communication methods.
Experience offering personal care support.
Capable of working in a team and collaborating with a teacher in a classroom workplace.
The position is replacing medical leave. The contract will start on October 1, 2026, and terminate on June 25, 2027. This position is subject to the ECCS-CUPE (Canadian Union of Public Employees) Support Staff Collective Agreement.
