We are seeking a part-time elder care provider to support our family in Castlegar, British Columbia.

Our love one requires respite care so that the care giver can have a break from monitoring her activities.

We are searching for someone who can engage with and monitor her safety in the home and yard.

She also requires assistance with patient self care such as dressing appropriately for the weather and taking medications.

We hope you are a compassionate individual that understands the redirecting required of a dementia patient that is very determined to be independent.

The ideal candidate would assist with providing companionship in the home and going for walks or outings such as going places for coffee or lunch or to get her hair styled and washed.

The hourly rate for this position is around $25.00.
