We are looking for an experienced finance leader to guide financial management across multiple business units in Kitchener- Waterloo, Ontario.

This hybrid role combines hands-on oversight of accounting activities with strategic analysis that supports operational and leadership decisions.

The successful candidate will strengthen reporting, improve financial processes, and help build a scalable finance function for a growing organization.

Responsibilities: • Direct the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close cycle to ensure accurate records and timely completion across all entities. • Prepare, review, and interpret financial reports, reconciliations, and supporting documents to maintain reporting quality and consistency. • Manage core finance operations, including accounts payable, cash oversight, and related transactional activities.



• Partner with senior leaders to assess business results, highlight financial risks, and identify opportunities for improved performance. • Lead, coach, and support the finance team by setting explicit priorities, accountability measures, and service expectations. • Strengthen internal control practices and governance standards to support compliance, audit readiness, and organizational growth. • Drive process enhancements by introducing automation, technology, and AI-based solutions that improve efficiency and data accuracy. • Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning while aligning financial insights with operational needs across consulting and construction-focused business lines.
