We are looking for a committed individual to fill the Entry Level Welder role in Winnipeg South. This job will start with day shifts before transitioning to a rotating schedule based on production requirements. You will work in a safety-sensitive setting, requiring a pre-employment medical and drug evaluation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret drawings for product accuracy
• Weld and tack various metal grades and thicknesses
• Use welding equipment and hand tools efficiently
• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts safely
• Assist with metal cutting, forming, and machining tasks
Requirements:
• Experience as a Fitter-Welder preferred
• Proficient in GMAW, SMAW, FCAW/MCAW, and/or GTAW processes
• Trade-tested or certified in Welding and Fabrication
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Strong commitment to safety procedures
