The candidate should be able to fit and install windows, doors and stairs.
The candidate should be able to fit and install mouldings and hardware.
The candidate should know how to use measuring tools.
The candidate should be able prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
The candidate should be able to read and interpret blueprints.
The candidate should be able toread and interpret drawings and sketches.

The candidate should be able to measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials

The candidate should be able to erect walls and roof systems.
The candidate should be able to maintain,
repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments.
