Securiguard is seeking a professional, customer-focused Bilingual Security Concierge (Spanish/English) to join our team at the Colombian Consulate in Calgary.

This unique opportunity offers the chance to work within an international diplomatic mission where you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, government representatives, and members of the public.

You will represent Securiguard in a professional environment that supports diplomatic services and international engagement.

The successful candidate will play a key role in creating a welcoming, professional, and secure experience for all visitors.

This is a primarily indoor position with occasional brief exterior patrols.

The role offers daytime hours, free onsite parking, and the opportunity to support visitors in a qualified diplomatic environment.

Location: Colombian Consulate, Calgary

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Hourly rate: $19.50/hour

Key Responsibilities

Greet visitors and provide exceptional customer service in a professional and courteous manner

Communicate effectively in both Spanish and English

Determine the purpose of visitors' appointments and notify the appropriate Consulate representative

Maintain a welcoming, organized, and professional reception area

Monitor visitor access and follow established security procedures

Conduct periodic exterior patrols of the property to ensure a safe and secure environment

Assist visitors with general inquiries and provide directions or information as appropriate

Observe, document, and report any security concerns or unusual activity

Complete required reports and daily documentation accurately and professionally





Qualifications

Fluent in both Spanish and English

Valid Alberta Security Licence

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Exceptional customer service and interpersonal abilities

Professional appearance and demeanor

Ability to remain calm, courteous, and composed in a public-facing environment

Strong attention to detail and sound judgment

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Previous experience in security, concierge, reception, hospitality, customer service, or a related field is considered an asset
