Maritime Welding is looking for a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team. This is a hands‑on position involving a variety of tasks, including sandblasting, painting, cleaning, material handling, packaging, and general shop support.

The ideal candidate is motivated, safety-conscious, physically capable, and willing to learn new skills. Previous industrial, manufacturing, or construction experience is an asset but training can be provided to the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
Perform sandblasting and surface preparation of parts and equipment
Assist with painting and coating operations
Clean work areas, equipment, tools, and materials
Perform material handling using appropriate equipment and secure lifting techniques




Prepare products and materials for shipping and packaging
Assist with general shop duties
Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment
Follow company safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE)

Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience in a shop, industrial, manufacturing, construction, painting, or sandblasting environment is an asset
Ability to work safely around tools, equipment, paints, and abrasive materials
Good physical condition and ability to perform manual labour
Ability to lift and move materials as required
Robust attention to detail
