As you work alongside a Journeyman Powerline Technician, you will gain essential skills in line construction, equipment management, and electrical system operation. Opportunities exist for both recent apprentices and those at various levels of their training.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in constructing overhead and underground power line facilities
• Erect and maintain poles and associated support structures
• Splice, solder,



and insulate conductors for systems integration
• Operate line trucks and related equipment safely
• Respond to emergency situations during and after hours

Requirements:
• Registered with the Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
• Knowledge of trade safety practices
• Experience supporting distribution networks 14.4kV - 25kV
• Local residency in Saskatchewan
