Located in Haileybury, this position specifically seeks female applicants to foster an inclusive environment. As a Residential Support Worker, you'll provide therapeutic and activity-based support while helping clients set goals and safety plans. Your responsibilities will include crisis intervention, case management, and maintaining a positive residential atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide compassionate support to women and children in shelter
• Facilitate therapeutic and structured group programming
• Conduct personal safety assessments and crisis interventions
• Manage administrative tasks and maintain client documentation
• Handle food preparation and general housekeeping duties
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in Social Work or related field
• First Aid/CPR and ASIST certifications
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
• Experience in crisis intervention and support roles
• Commitment to feminist, anti-oppressive service practices
