Join Noojmowin Teg Health Centre as a Mental Health & Addictions Counsellor focused on client-centered treatment. Provide essential support through assessment, counseling, and community health promotion.

As part of a dedicated team under the Mental Health and Addictions Program Manager, you will work closely with clients facing addiction and concurrent disorder concerns. Your role involves conducting intake assessments, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with external service providers. You'll also facilitate access to traditional healing programs while promoting mental well-being in the Manitoulin Island area.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
• Provide counseling for addiction and mental health issues




• Make referrals to treatment centers as needed
• Facilitate access to traditional healing and cultural programming
• Participate in community health promotion activities

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Social Work or related field
• Registration with Ontario College of Social Workers
• 3 years of counseling experience
• Valid G driver's license and transparent driving record
• Clear vulnerable sector check
