You are courteous and effective with the public and enjoy working with a diverse group of people. You ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for our customers by providing swimming lessons and lifeguarding. Your solid communication skills will help you when instructing aquatic programs to all ages and special community groups. You are able to provide safety supervision for all swimmers and first aid when required.



Your responsibilities also include monitoring pool chemistry and ensuring that pool areas and change rooms are kept clean.Qualifications & RequirementsStandard First Aid current within 3 yearsCPR-C current within 1 yearNational Lifeguard Pool Option (NLP) current within two (2) yearsLifesaving Society Swim Instructor current within two (2) yearsLifesaving Instructor (LSI) current within 2 yearsThis is an auxiliary position with varying hours including days, evenings and weekends.
