We are currently recruiting for Legal Assistants with 6+ years of experience to join our talented team. This is a full time position, Monday through Friday (8:30am to 4:30pm). Employment and Labour experience required.

Responsibilities:
Drafting legal documents, pleadings and correspondence
Management of files from opening to closing including filing, file organization, tracking and filing email correspondence
Ability to diarize dates independently with respect to client files and practice management, maintenance of a lawyer's calendar and a reliable bring forward (BF) system
Preparation of monthly accounts and expense reports
Coordination of lawyer's administrative tasks and marketing initiatives

Qualifications:
Solid understanding of legal procedures and documentation
Recent Labour and Employment experience
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Advanced knowledge of MS Teams,



One Drive and Adobe
Advanced knowledge of a document management program (iManage preferred)
Excellent composition, grammar, spelling, and editing skills
Communicates professionally with clients, co-workers and other parties
Ability to balance and prioritize a substantial workload and handle routine tasks with little supervision
LAA Certificate or equivalent work experience
